PENENTUAN BILANGAN IODINE DARI MENTEGA PUTIH MERK
FLAGSHIP PRODUKSI PT.SMART Tbk.BELAWAN
ABSTRAK
Telah dilakukan percobaan penentuan bilangan iodine dari mentega putih
merk Flagship produksi PT SMART Tbk Belawan, dimana sampel diambil secara
sembarang pada tanggal 15 Februari 2013, 19 Februari 2013, 22 Februari 2013, dan
01 Maret 2013.Bilangan iodine dari sampel tersebut ditentukan dengan metode
Wijs.Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bilangan iodine dari sampel yang diambil pada
tanggal 15 Februari 2013, 19 Februari 2013, 22 Februari 2013, dan 01 Maret 2013
adalah masing-masing sebagai berikut: 49,46, 49,31, 49,34,dan 49,38.
Bila dibandingkan bilangan iodine dari mentega putih merk Flagship yang
ditentukan pada tanggal 15 Februari 2013,19 Februari 2013,22 Februari 2013, dan 01
Maret 2013 dengan spesifikasi produk dari standart PORAM (BilanganIodin=48-51),
maka bilangan Iodin dari mentega putih merk Flagship produksi PT SMART Tbk
Belawan memenuhi standart PORAM (The Palm Oil Refiners Association Of
Malaysia) .

IODINE DETERMINATION OF PRODUCTS FLAGSHIP SHORTENING
PRODUCTION PT.SMART Tbk.BELAWAN
ABSTRACT
Experiments have been performed on the determination of the iodine value of
Flagship brand shortening production of PT SMART Tbk Belawan.Samples were
taken randomlyon the 15th February 2013,19th February 2013,22th February 2013,
and 01st March 2013.Iodine value of the samples were determined by Wij’s method
.Iodine value of the samples were taken on the 15th February 2013,19th February
2013,22th February 2013, dan 01st March 2013 were : 49,46,49,31,49,34 and 49,38
respectically.
When these iodine value of Flagship brand shortening were determined on
the 15th February 2013,19th February 2013,22th February 2013, dan 01st March 2013
were compared with product specification of PORAM standart (Iodin Value = 4851),the iodine value of Flagship brand shortening production of PT.SMART Tbk
