TINGKAT ANEMIA BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KEJADIAN ABORTUS

ABSTRACT
Iron deficiency in pregnant women can cause interference or hindrance in the growth of the fetus, both of body
cells and brain cells. Anemia can result in death of the fetus in the womb, abortion, birth defects, low birth
weight, anemia in babies born. Excessive bleeding caused the maternal mortality. This study was to
determine the relationship between the level of anemia with the abortion in pregnant women in community
health center of sub-district Mojo, Ngadi, Kediri. This research was a correlational analytical research with
cross-sectional approach using secondary data. The population in this study were all pregnant women in
community health center of sub-district Mojo, Ngadi, Kediri with a sample of 77 people, obtained by simple
random sampling. The research instrument was a data collection sheet. Data were analyzed using spearman
rank. The results show based on the level of anemia, most experienced anemia is 49 people (63.6%) and
based on the incidence of abortion, most experienced abortion were 42 people (54.5%). The bivariate
analysis using spearman rank test showed the value of ρ value = 0,000
