Penggunaan Tepung Daun Apu-Apu (Pistia stratiotes) Dalam Pakan Terhadap Performans Itik Peking Umur 1-8 Minggu

HANAFI.
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan diLaboratorium Biologi Ternak Program Studi
Peternakan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Sumatera Utara dari bulan Mei sampai
dengan bulan Juni 2016.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persentase optimal
penggunaan tepung daun apu-apu (TDA) sebagai bahan penyusun ransum terhadap
performans (konsumsi ransum, pertambahan bobot badan, konversi ransum) dan
income over feed cost (IOFC) itik peking umur 1-8 minggu.Rancangan yang
digunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan, setiap
ulangan terdiri dari 5Day Old Duck (DOD). Perlakuan terdiri dari T0 = Ransum
dengan 0 % TDA, T1 = Ransum dengan 5 % TDA, T2 = Ransum dengan 10
%TDAdan T3 = Ransum dengan 15 %TDA.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rataan konsumsi ransum
(g/ekor/minggu) secara berturut turut untuk perlakuan T0, T1, T2 dan T3 sebesar
531,05, 562,24, 605,6, dan 541,45. Pertambahan bobot badan (g/ekor/minggu) secara
berturut turut sebesar 181,5, 193,14, 205,08 dan 180,28 . Konversi ransum secara
berturut turut sebesar 2 ,84, 2,83, 2,84 dan 2.91 . IOFC itik peking tertinggi yaitu Rp
13699,68 pada perlakuan T2 dan yang terendah yaitu Rp 6094,92 pada perlakuan T0

Pemberian tepung daun apu-apu dalam ransum sangat berpengaruh terhadap
konsumsi ransum, pertambahan bobot badan dan IOFC namun tidak memberikan
pengaruh terhadap konversi ransum itik peking.

ABSTRACT

ALFIQRI IMAM BUDHIMAN, 2016. "Utilization of Water Lettuce Flour
(Pistia stratiotes) in Feed on Performance of Peking Ducks age 1-8 weeks", guided by
ARMYN HAKIM DAULAY and NEVYs DIANA HANAFI.
This research was conducted at the Laboratory Animal Biology Animal
Husbandry Studies Program, Faculty of Agriculture, University of North Sumatra
from May to June 2016. This study aimed to determine the optimal use of the
percentage water lettuce flour leaf meal as the constituents of ration on the
performances (feed consumption, body weight gain, feed conversion) and income
over feed cost (IOFC) peking duck age of 1-8 weeks. The design is completely
randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications, each replication
consisted of 5 Day Old Duck (DOD). The treatment consists of T0 = rations with 0%

water lettuce flour, T1 = ration with 5% water lettuce flour, T2 = ration with 10%
water lettuce flour and T3 = ration with 15% water lettuce flour.
The results showed that the average feed intake (g / head / week) in
consecutive to treatment T0, T1, T2 and T3 at 531.05, 562.24, 605.6, and 541.45.
Body weight gain in consecutive (g / head / week) at 181.5, 193.14, 205.08 and
180.28. Feed conversion in consecutive at 2.84, 2.83, 2.84 and 2.91. Peking duck
IOFC high of Rp 13699.68 in treatment T2 and a low of Rp 6094.92 on the T0
Award water lettuce flour in the ration is very influential on feed
consumption, body weight gain and IOFC but does not give effect to the peking duck
feed conversion.
