Kompetensi Dasar : Merespon makna dan langkah retorika dalam esai yang menggunakan ragam bahasa tulis secara akurat, lancer, dan berterima dalam kontek kehdupan sehari-hari dalam teks berbentuk narrative. III. Indikator : Siswa diharapkan mampu: 1. Mengidentifikasi makna gagasan utama dalam teks yang berbentuk narrative. 2. Mengidentifikasi informasi dalam sebuah teks berbentuk narrative.

IV. Tujuan Pembelajaran

VI. Materi Pembelajaran Tema: Narrative

a. Definition: A kind of text that has the function to amuse, entertain and to deal with actual or vicarious experience in different ways; Narratives deal with problematic events which lead to a crisis or turning point of some kind, which in turn finds a resolution. b. Generic Structure:  Orientation: Introduce the participants and setting of the narrative.  Complication: A crisis or problem arises.  Resolution: A crisis or problem is solved, for better or worse.  Re-orientation: This is closing remark to the story and it is optional  Code: The moral value of the story. c. Significant feature of narrative text are:  Characters, setting and actions are described in details, using adjectival and adverb.  Use of past tense with the possibility of using present tense and future tense in the dialogue.  Use of material process  Use of words dealing with time and sequence then, next, first, second, etc.  Can be told in the perpective of first person I, we or third person she, he, and they. d. Example: Fly and the Bull There was once a little fly who though he was very important. He felt proud of himself. One sunny morning, he flew around looking for someone to talk to. He saw a bull grazing in a field. He decided to fly down to him. The little fly flew down and buzzed around the bull‟s head. The bull did not bother him. He went chewing grass. The fly the buzzed right inside the bull‟s ear. The bull continued chewing grass. The fly though, “What a stupid animal” Now the fly decided to land on one of the bull‟s horns to make the bull notice him. He waited for the bull to say something, but the bull kept quite. The fly then shouted angrily, “Oh, Bull, if you find that I‟am too heavy for you, let me know and I‟ll fly away” The bull laughed and said, “Little fly, I don‟t care if you stay or leave. You are so tiny that your weight does not make any differences tome, so please and leave me alone.”

VII. Metode Pembelajaran  Collaborative Strategic Reading CSR

1. Langkah- langkah Pembelajaran

Kegiatan Deskripsi Kegiatan Alokasi Waktu Pendahulua n Apersepsi  Menyapa siswa dengan mengucapkan selamat pagi  Menanyakan kabar siswa  Mengajak siswa membaca sebelum memulai pelajaran Motivasi  Tanya jawab tentang pengetahuan keterampilan yang terkait dengan KD  Guru menjelaskan pentingnya materi yang akan dipelajari berikut kompetensi yang akan dipelajari oleh siswa 10 menit Kegiatan Inti Eksplorasi  Guru menjelaskan tentang teks narrative dan siwa diminta untuk memperhatikannya  Guru menjelaskan tentang Collaborative Strategic Reading CSR  Guru membagi murid ke dalam beberapa kelompok kecil yang terdiri dar 5-6 siswa dan memberikan peran sebagi leader, clunk expert, gist expert, announcer, encourager, and timekeeper  Guru menjelaskan langkah-langkah dalam CSR preview, click and clunk, get the gist, and wrap up. Elaborasi  Guru meminta siswa untuk mengidentifikasi general structure yang terdapat dalam teks narrative secara berkelompok  Guru meminta siswa menyimpulkan isi teks narrative  Guru memberikan pertanyaan yang bersumber dari teks tersebut 60 menit  Guru memberi kesempatan berpikir, menganalisis dan bertindak tanpa rasa takut Konfirmasi  Guru memberikan umpan balik positif dan penguatan dalam bentuk lisan, tulisan, isyarat, maupun hadiah terhadap keberhasilan peserta didik  Memfasilitasi peserta didik untuk memperoleh pengalaman bermakna dalam mencapai kompetensi dasar  Guru menjadi fasilitator dalam menghadapi kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa Penutup  Bersama sama dengan peserta didik membuat rangkumansimpulan pelajaran  Melakukan penilaian atau refleksi terhadap kegiatan yang sudah dilaksanakan konsisten dan terprogram  Memberikan umpan balik terhadap proses dan hasil pembelajaran 10 menit
