CHAPTER IV THE RESULT OF THE STUDY
The data gained from a research field were analyzed to get the clear conclusion. The steps that were taken were classified as the following steps: 1
data description; 2 test of data analysis prerequisite; 3 hypothesis testing; and 4 discussion. These four steps were classified chronologically and explained
clearly as follows.
A. Data Description
The data presented are the result of the reading test. It includes the mean, mode, median, standard deviation, and frequency distribution then followed by
histogram and polygon. The descriptions of the data are based on the groups analyzed which are divided into eight groups:
1. The data of reading test of the students who were taught using Note-Taking
Pairs technique A
1
2. The data of reading test on the students who were taught by using DR-TA
technique A
2
3. The data of the reading test of the students who have high linguistic
intelligence B
