6. Kesimpulan dan Implikasi
Kualitas pelayanan dalam sejumlah penelitian telah terbukti berpengaruh positif terhadap kepercayaan pelanggan dibanyak sektor. Artinya, dalam rangka meningkatkan kepercayaan pelanggan, penyedia jasa dapat melakukannya dengan meningkatkan kualitas jasa yang diberikan. Namun, kualitas pelayanan memiliki banyak dimensi. Hal ini menimbulkan kesulitan bagi organisasi jasa dengan dana yang terbatas untuk memfokuskan peningkatan kualitas yang akan mereka lakukan. Sebagai contoh adalah Puskesmas. Puskesmas memiliki problem dengan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap kualitas pelayannya. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi Puskesmas untuk memperbaiki kualitas kesehatan yang disediakan sehingga Kualitas pelayanan dalam sejumlah penelitian telah terbukti berpengaruh positif terhadap kepercayaan pelanggan dibanyak sektor. Artinya, dalam rangka meningkatkan kepercayaan pelanggan, penyedia jasa dapat melakukannya dengan meningkatkan kualitas jasa yang diberikan. Namun, kualitas pelayanan memiliki banyak dimensi. Tulisan ini membangun model konseptual yang mengungkap bahwa jenis kelamin memoderasi pengaruh antara dimensi-dimensi tersebut dengan kepercayaan pasien. Hal ini memiliki beberapa implikasi praktis yang harus diperhatikan oleh para pengelola Puskesmas. Pertama, prioritas peningkatan kualitas dalam rangka meningkatlkan kepercayaan pasien dapat dilakukan dengan meningkatkan kualitas layanan pada dimensi yang memiliki pengaruh paling kuat terhadap kepercayaan pasien baik pria maupun wanita. Kedua, perbaikan layanan kesehatan dapat disesuaikan dengan karakteristik dan kepribadian masing-masing jenis kelamin. Ketiga, jika Puskesmas tidak memungkinkan untuk memberikan layanan dengan menyesuaikan karakteristik dan kepribadian pasien (pria dan wanita), Puskesmas dapat mengambil jalan tengah yaitu dengan memberikan layanan yang dapat memuaskan keduanya.
