explains the language feature of the text more deeply. The grammar explanation is completed with grammar exercise named “Checking Your
Grammar.” The fourth part is “Mastering the Text.” This is the last part of the main activities. This part provides another text related to the topic, a set of
vocabulary exercise Adding More New Words, and comprehension questions Checking Your Understanding.
iii. Post activity. All materials discussed in each unit is concluded in “Wrapping Up.” This part gives a summary of important points to remember about the
main topic of the unit.
2. The Blog’s Description
In this study, the writer used Wordpress as the domain for the reading blog. The reason of choosing Wordpress was because it is one of the most famous blog
domains. Moreover, the presentation is attractive and it provides useful tools which enable the blog users to post many forms of media such as pictures, moving
pictures, video, and audio. The blog address for this reading blog is http:dontstopreading.wordpress.com.
Similar to other blogs, this reading blog has some common features such as the blog title, the date of posting, the posts, the link to post and read comments,
and archived post. Each post contains one unit of reading material. At the end of

every post or unit, there is a link which the students can click to download the worksheet to do the exercises.
In order to give more information about the reading blog, the writer added “About This Blog”, and “Teacher’s Corner.” “About This Blog” tells the readers
about the background of the blog’s development, the expected users, and the information how readers would make use of the blog. “Teacher’s Corner” is
addressed to the teachers who are interested and intend to use the reading blog as a source of reading materials.

CHAPTER 5 CONCLUSIONS AND SUGGESTIONS
This chapter presents two major points, the conclusions and suggestions. The conclusions give a brief summary on the answers of the research problems.
The suggestions reveal some recommendations from the writer for the tenth grade students of SMA BOPKRI 2 Yogyakarta, the English teachers of SMA BOPKRI 2
Yogyakarta, and for other researchers.
A. Conclusions
As stated in Chapter 1, this study would answer two questions 1 How is the reading blog for tenth grade students of SMA BOPKRI 2 Yogyakarta
designed? And 2 What does the reading blog for tenth grade students of SMA BOPKRI 2 Yogyakarta look like? To answer the first question, the writer
employed the RD cycle proposed by Borg and Gall, supported by ID models by Kemp and Taba.
The first step of this method is research and information gathering. In this step the writer gathered the data from literature reviews and from the participants
by distributing questionnaires. The information gathered was used to conduct the next step. The second step is planning. In this step the writer selected the learning
objectives, the contents, and the learning experiences which would be developed in the study. The third step is preliminary form of product development. The
reading blog was designed in this step based on the information gathered and the
