g. Have you ever joined to the event that related with local culture?
Answer
: yes I have , my civil colleague have marriage, and we come to her home and I see the local culture is so different with ours, for example, when we
gonna eat so we must sit down in the floor,but in china never do that.
3. Culture Shock
a. Did you have any worries when you work here for the first time? In what
terms?
Answer : yes I have, because my families don’t allow me to go to Indonesia,
and then when I came here I found many people who have a different culture from me.
b. Since you work on this project, have you ever had some sickness? What kind
of sickness that you ever afflicted?
Answer : yes ,when the first time I came here I got fever.
c. Are there anything that you don’t like from the behavior of local people?
Answer : no have, the local people are very friendly.
d. Have you ever refused to interacted with the local people?
Answer : until now, I no have.
e. Have you ever felt that local people refuse you?
Answer : no, never .
f. Since you have been working here, how many times you go back to China?
Answer : twice a year.
g. Do you have family in Tiongkok?
Answer : Yes I have, I have mother, father, one sister, and one brother, and i
have a girl friend in there . h.
Do you miss them?
Answer
: yes of course, everybody of us missing their family.Sometimes when I missing them I call them, and take some pictures of them.
4. Value of local culture
i. Do you realize some light difference between Indonesia and tiongkok?
Answer : yes I realize.
j. What’s the lightest difference between desa tanjung pasir and Tiongkok.
Answer : many different, from the environment, from the public
transportation, for example I ever go to medan by bus, and the bus is very small. the habbit , the food, and i see all of local people are very good, they
only have little money but they are seems very happy, but in china we must working everyday to get much money, because in my country everything are
very expensive, so we need much money to fulfill our daily needed. And then If you go to china and look in the big city, you’ll find much people and we have
no time to talk to each other ,because we must work very early in the morning.
