4.5.2.2 Control Group using Songs’ Post-test Analysis

The second one is the post-test analysis of control group using songs as the media. The post-test score for control group using songs as the media implies that there is little improvement in the students‟ pronunciation ability. The improvement can be seen from the mean score. Compared to the pre-test score, the mean score of post- test increased by two points from 65 to 67. Here is the post-test score of the control group using songs. In the post-test data, we can find twenty two students are considered having average ability in pronunciation. However, only nineteen students are considered in this level when the pre-test done. The last is good ability level. In the good ability level, there are two students included in this level in the pre-test. Nevertheless, in the post-test we can find there are five students considered having good pronunciation ability. Overall, we can say that there is little improvement of students‟ pronunciation ability after getting treatment using songs as the media. The scores of the pre-test are varied from 55 to 87.
