  Ge ogr a ph ic dist r ibu t ion : I ndom alesia. Ge n e r a l: Heart w ood basically y ellow t o w hit e or grey. Sapw ood colour sim ilar t o heart w ood co- lour. Densit y 0.55–0.57 g/ cm ³ .

  V e sse ls: Wood diffuse- porous. Vessels in m ult iples, com m only short ( 2–3 vessels) radial rows.

  

Average t angent ial vessel diam et er 85–150–200 µm . Average num ber of vessels/ m m ² 9–10–14.

ray pit s wit h dist inct borders, sim ilar t o int ervessel pit s. Helical t hickenings absent . Tyloses in ves-
