ABSTRAK

PENGARUH STRES KERJA DAN MOTIVASI TERHADAP KINERJA
PEGAWAI BAGIAN PENGOLAHAN PADA PTPN IV CABANG BAH
BUTONG SIDAMANIK, PEMATANG SIANTAR
Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah sejauh mana pengaruh stres
kerja dan motivasi terhadap kinerja pegawai bagian pengolahan pada PTPN IV
Cabang Bah Butong, Sidamanik Pematang Siantar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah
untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh stres kerja dan motivasi terhadap
kinerja pegawai bagian pengolahan pada PTPN IV Cabang Bah Butong,
Sidamanik Pematang Siantar.
Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini ialah stres kerja berpengaruh negatif dan
signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai bagian pengolahan pada PTPN IV Cabang
Bah Butong, Sidamanik Pematang Siantar. Dan motivasi berpengaruh positif dan
signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai bagian pengolahan pada PTPN IV Cabang
Bah Butong, Sidamanik Pematang Siantar. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan
melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada pegawai bagian pengolahan pada
PTPN IV Cabang Bah Butong, Sidamanik Pematang Siantar. Metode analisis
yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan regresi linier
berganda.
Hasil analisis regresi linier berganda secara uji F (Simultan) stres kerja dan

motivasi bersama – sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja
pegawai bagian pengolahan pada PTPN IV Cabang Bah Butong, Sidamanik
Pematang Siantar. Hasil uji signifikansi parsial (uji t) menunjukkan bahwa stres
kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai bagian
pengolahan pada PTPN IV Cabang Bah Butong, Sidamanik Pematang Siantar dan
motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai bagian
pengolahan pada PTPN IV Cabang Bah Butong, Sidamanik Pematang Siantar.

MOTIVATION AND WORK STRESS EFFECT ON THE PERFORMANCE OF
EMPLOYEES IN THE PROCESSING BRANCH PTPN IV BAH BUTONG
SIDAMANIK, PEMATANG SIANTAR
The problems of this research is the extent to which the effects of job stress on
employee performance and motivation processing on the part of PTPN IV Branch Butong
Bah, Sidamanik Pematangsiantar. The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze
the effect of work stress on employee performance and motivation processing on the part
of PTPN IV Branch Butong Bah, Sidamanik Pematang Siantar.

The hypothesis of this study is that the stress of work and a significant negative
effect on the performance of employees in the processing part of PTPN IV Branch Butong
Bah, Sidamanik Pematangsiantar. And motivation positive and significant effect on the
performance of employees in the processing part of PTPN IV Branch Butong Bah,
Sidamanik Pematangsiantar. Primary data were collected through questionnaires
distributed to employees in the processing part of PTPN IV Branch Butong Bah,
Sidamanik Pematang Siantar. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis using
multiple linear regression.

The results of multiple linear regression analysis by the F test

IV Branch Butong Bah, Sidamanik Pematang Siantar. Results of partial

impact on the performance of employees in the processing part of PTPN IV
Branch Bah Butong, Sidamanik Pematangsiantar.
