KESIMPULAN DAN SARAN
A. Kesimpulan
Dari hasil pembahasan dapat diambil kesimpulan sebagai berikut :
1. Geobiokomposit
FII
[LPP/DVB/LPP-g-AA/STKS/Bent] dan FIII [LPP/DVB/LPP-g-AA/STKS/MMt] dapat disintesis dengan metode larutan secara reaktif dan diperoleh komposisi optimum geobiokomposit terhadap kemampuan hambat bakar pada konsentrasi lempung bentonit dan montmorillonit 20% sehingga memberikan penurunan burning rate (BR) 57,27% dan 59,55% dibanding biokomposit standar FI [LPP/DVB/LPP-g- AA/STKS].
2. Berdasarkan sifat mekanik, komposisi optimum lempung bentonit dan montmorillonit pada geobiokomposit [LPP/DVB/LPP-g-AA/STKS/Bent] dan [LPP/DVB/LPP-g-AA/STKS/MMt] diperoleh pada konsentrasi 20% dimana kekuatan tarik meningkat sebesar 13,49% dan 18,76% serta kekuatan impak meningkat sebesar 41,07% dan 48,03% dibanding FI [LPP/DVB/LPP-g- AA/STKS].
B. Saran
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas perlu dilakukan tindak lanjut yang disarankan sebagai berikut :
1. Perlu dilakukan analisis uji biodegradasi dan fotomikrografi SEM terhadap geobiokomposit.
2. Perlu dilakukan analisis termal dari geobiokomposit menggunakan DTA.
