CHAPTER IV FINDING AND DISCUSSION
This chapter focuses on the findings and the discussions of the study. The findings discus some findings in the study that gathers from
questionnaire while discussion talks about discussion about that finding and some assumptions according that finding.
A. Finding
On this part will talk about the interpretation of X
1
, X
2
and Y. Total statistical description can be seen in the table below:
Table 4.1 Descriptive Statistics

Visual’s learning style 59.0114
10.59114 88
Parent’s attention 97.8750
19.41016 88
The Table 4.1 above, it is known that Mean is the middle line between the numbers. The Mean for visual learning style is 59.01, that
mean visual learning style has middle path 59.01, this number has middle in Likert Scale, while Mean for parents attention is 97.87. this
mean that parents attention has good in the Likert Scale, The Mean for
student’s achievement is 74.45 that mean student achievement has middle in Scale Likert. While standard deviation for visual learning
style is 10.59, while for parents attention is 19.41, in student’s achievement is 9.21.
1. Pre-requisite Analysis
a Normality Test for X
1
and X
2
and Y
To measure the normality, the writer use formula of Pearson Product Moment:
39 n∑XY - ∑X ∑Y
rxy = ______________________ √ n.∑X² - ∑X² N.∑Y²-∑Y²
Note :
rxy : Correlation coefficient
N : Number of respondents
x : Distribution of student who gain learning experience
y : Distribution of students outcome
∑y : Total score of students outcome
∑xy : Total number of x multipleb by y x²
: Guarded from x y²
: guarded from y From the formula above, it gained:

From the Table 4.2 above, visual learning style has sig 0.074, it means 0.074 0.05, that explains Visual learning style has normal
distribution, while parents attention gained sig 0.533, It has bigger than 0.05 or it stated 0.533 0.05.that explain parents attention has normal
distribution. S tudent’s achievement scored 0.214. it is bigger than 0.05
or 0.214 0.05 that means students achievement has normal distribution. To summarize, it knows that all sig. has more than r-critics
0.05 that explains all variables have normal distribution. b.
Homogenity Test
The formula used is: nS²-
∑Si² α = ___________
n-1 S² Note :
α : alpha coefficient
n : amount of respondent
S² : variants total of score
Sі² : variants of item.
From the formula, it gained:
