The Results of the Post-design Questionnaire

SMA STELLA DUCE 1 Yogyakarta and the experts were two lecturers of English Language Education Study Program of Sanata Dharma University. Two English teachers and one lecturer held Undergraduate degree, while one lecturer had a Master degree S2. All of the participants had adequate teaching experiences, they had been teaching for more than four years. 6. The Evaluation of the Designed Materials

After obtaining the results of the post-design questionnaire, the evaluation was conducted. There were two discussions:

a. The Results of the Post-design Questionnaire

In gaining the evaluation on the designed materials, the writer distributed the post-design questionnaire to the participants. The degree of agreement of the participants was converted in numbers. The numbers were ranged from 1 up to 5. The degrees of agreements are as follows: 1 : strongly disagree with the statement 2 : disagree with the statement 3 : undecided with the statement 4 : agree with the statement 5 : strongly agree with the statement The results of the evaluation are presented below: Central Tendencies No. Participants’ Opinion on N Mean 1. The tasks in each unit can facilitate the learners to achieve the indicators 4 4.3 Table 4.5 The Results of the Post-design Questionnaire N : Number of respondents Mn : Mean an indicator of central tendency of the sources set The Mean was counted using the formulation below: Σ X  X = N Note:  X : the range point Σ X : the sum of all score N : the number of respondents Based on the results of the post-design questionnaire, in general, the designed materials were good and acceptable for the tenth grade students of SMA STELLA DUCE 1 Yogyakarta. Based on Table 4.4, from nine statements given in the post- design questionnaire, one statement had the score below 3.4. The statement was about the time allocation which had the score below 3.4. Other eight statements had the mean of the score above 3.5. Therefore, according to the results of the post- design questionnaire, the writer concluded that the participants agreed that the designed materials were good and suitable for the tenth grade students of SMA STELLA DUCE 1 Yogyakarta, eventhough there were some revisions conducted.
