f. Practice
The learners are asked to do exercises which aim to know whether they have understood the material or not. In some units, the learners would find pictures and
they should give appropriate expressions related to the situation in the picture.
g. Speak Up
The learners are asked to produce the material they had learned in certain activities, such as role play, discussion and interview. The purpose of this part is to
measure learners’ performance and to evaluate whether the learners have achieved the goal of each unit. Since it focuses in speaking, learners’ ability to communicate and
to interact are the point to evaluate whether they have learned well.
5. Selecting Teaching Learning Activities
Role play, class discussion, interview are the activities and they are based on Communicative Language Teaching which allowed the learners to communicate by
using the target language. By doing such activity, learners would feel motivated because they used the language that they learned. However, games are also used in
certain units which are aimed to create enjoyable learning and to give meaningful communicative practice.
6. Evaluation

to evaluate the designed material and to gain feedback from the respondents. Then, the feedback was used to revise and to improve the material.
