1. Warming Up
It is the way to direct learners’ attention to the topic by giving questions related to the topic in the unit. It is also to give description of the language focus. The
questions are based on learners’ experience so the learners can have reflection and description about the material that they are going to learn.
2. Vocabulary
It is to introduce the learners about the sounds and spellings of words that they are going to use in each unit. The learners are to repeat and to pronounce the
words correctly in this part.
3. Conversation
It aims to give learners a model in which some utterances might happen in certain situation. Learners are also to practice in pair through guided conversation.
Here, teachers may notice the mispronounce words and explained when learners finish practice.
4. Comprehension
By answering the questions in this part, learners can measure their ability in comprehending the text. It is not only in form of questions but also in form of true or
false statement. It aims to introduce learners to affirmative, positive and negative form. It also aims to avoid boredom.
5. Language Focus
Having receptive knowledge is important for the learners. Learners will learn how to produce correct sentence in this part. This part is so simple that learners can

learn by themselves. Since it is language focus, it is the main or the focus of each unit. Grammar is important to be learned, however, it is not the main focus of the
learning. The material stresses on the fluency and expression rather than grammar because it focuses on speaking.
6. Practice
After learning in the previous part, learners are to produce correct sentence in written form. It is productive knowledge in written form. The authenticity became the
main consideration in this part. Statements and questions are made based on real situation in the class. It is expected that the learners can apply it in the class.
