2. Final Product Revision

The revisions were made based on the comments, suggestion and feedback from the preliminary field testing. The revisions are explained in some points. a The writer revised some grammatical mistakes and being consistent in using the grammar. b The written exercises in the Comprehension part and Practice part were made in vary in order to avoid boredom. c The writer revised the activity, evaluation and source in the syllabus. d The writer revised the explanations which were ambiguous and misleading in the Do you know? part. Four suggestions were excluded because of some considerations. The writer did not add words or phrases in the Vocabulary part because it would take long time. The writer also did not add written exercise related to grammar because the focus of the material is speaking. The writer did not make conversation between teachers and coworkers because the writer focuses on the interaction between teacher and students in the class. Another reason is that it will help the teachers to concern in their ability in controlling the class or dealing with class management. There is no need to add explorative activity because learners can explore their speaking ability in the last part of every unit, Speak Up . Learners can make their own conversation as long as it contains the language focus. The designed material had been revised and it was to answer the second research question. It consists of five units which has each topic and goal. The topics are listed in the table 4.8.
