In addition, Jack C. Richards and Willy A Renandya stated that “vocabulary is a core component of language proficiency and provides much
of the basis for how well learners speak, listen, and write.”

In learning English, students in high school should learn a new vocabulary. They have to master a
language component in order to comprehend the information, and able to speak and write in English.
From those definitions above, it can be concluded that vocabulary is the basic of language that can be used by individual speaker. It is a very important
tool to master a language. Mastering new language is not easy because some aspects of language are not easy to learn, it is impossible to learn a new language
without mastering vocabulary. Vocabulary is the important aspect of improving communication skills. A learner of a foreign language will speak fluently if heshe
masters it. Vocabulary will help a learner write easily, and understand what he
