Cycle Enterprise Life cycle mengintegrasikan manajemen, bisnis, dan proses life-cycle teknik rekayasa yang mendalami perusahaan untuk dapat menyelaraskan bisnis dan kegiatan TI didalamnya. Enterprise Life Cycle pada umumnya mengacu pada pendekatan sebuah organisasi untuk mengelola kegiatan dan pengambilan keputusan selama penyegaran praktek bisnis dan teknis terus- menerus untuk mendukung misi perusahaan tersebut. Kegiatan ini termasuk manajemen investasi, definisi proyek, manajemen konfigurasi, akuntabilitas, dan bimbingan untuk pengembangan sistem menurut Pengembangan Sistem Life Cycle SDLC. Enterprise Life Cycle berlaku untuk kegiatan perencanaan enterprise-luas dan pengambilan keputusan. Sebaliknya, Pengembangan Sistem Life CycleSDLC umumnya mengacu pada praktek untuk membangun sistem individu. Menentukan sistem-sistem apa yang akan dibangun adalah keputusan tingkat perusahaan.
