Kelsea’s Conflict againts Pen.
Kelsea wants to come after the shipment before it is too late, but Lazarus and the Queen’s Guards do not believe on Kelsea’s vision and they disagree to
chase the shipment in the middle of the night. They think it will hard to track the shipment on night time and the Queen’s guards also need some rest. They assume
that it is just a dream. Kelsea is very sure about her dream. Kelsea sees Thorne and his entourages are doing an illegal shipment. She lets Lazarus of the Mace
and the Queens Guards to choose, whether they are going to join her or stay in the Keep. She thinks it is needed to let some of the guards stay at the keep to protect
the women and children. Kelsea insists to chase the shipment by herself, if
Mace and the Queen’s Guards refuse to join her. Kelsea assumes if she late, she will lose more of her
people. In the end, they accompany Kelsea with a disappointed face. They still think it is merely a bad dream and it is wasting of time to do such thing on a night
time. After a long pursuit, they find the illegal shipment. They are ashamed for not believing and they also apologize for not being loyal to Kelsea in the
beginning. After all, Kelsea and the Queen ’s Guards succesfully stop the illegal
shipment. They save the people of the countryside of Tearling. The people are being grateful for what Kelsea did. They praise her like Kelsea is the saviour of
Tearling. “Shut up” Kelsea shouted. “We’re all going to go. Pick a couple of
guards to stay here with the women and children.” “No one’s going anywhere,” Mace growled. He took her arm, roughly.
