4.8.5.3 Fuzzy Logic Analysis

Fuzzy Logic Analysis can be used as second opinion and decision support to decide the polluted river in a certain area. Figure 61 shows, the user interface of fuzzy logic systems. Figure 61. User Interface of Fuzzy Logic Before conducting the Fuzzy Logic analysis, the pollution status by using Storet or Pollution Index methods should be done according to the process there is any different result, see Figure 62 and Figure 63. The most important is inputting the respondent opinions according to the format based on the appropriate number priority scale of the river. The symbol of L1 until L5 describe the level of priority Table 6. 95 Figure 62. Calculating of Pollution Status by using Storet Method Figure 63. Calculating of Pollution Status by using Pollution Index PI Both of the methods have different results, especially in sequences of river name Figure 64 and Figure 65. 96 Figure 64. The result using Storet Method Figure 65. The result using PI Method By using Fuzzy logic with α-cut = 0.5, one alternative was obtained, e.g. 13452 Figure 66 . According to the stakeholder opinions by examples, the polluted river by sequences are: Citepus, Cilamaya, Cisangkan, Cibeureum and Ciujung, respectively. There are rather different results if measured using Storet methods: Citepus, Ciujung, Cilamaya, Cisangkan and Cibeureum, respectively. Using Pollution Index Methods, the following results were obtained: Citepus, Ciujung, Cibeureum, Cisangkan, Cilamaya, respectively. The situation might be caused by various perspectives of the respondents or different methods used Fig. 66. Figure 66. Analysis of Stakeholders Opinion by Using Fuzzy Logic By measurement, a lot of uncertainty can happen, for instance: measurement conducted during rainy or dry seasons, and may be due to different hours between of the measurement. Meanwhile, by using Fuzzy Logic, everyone who has a competence can give their opinion according to hisher judgment. But, in this case by example, both 97 methods give the same result, where the most polluted river is S. Citepus. It means that S. Citepus belongs to the highest priority of river which needs more serious management.

4.9 Spatial Information

Spatial information is very important and needed in decision making process. In GIS, there are some information that can be displayed by map layer. In this study, there are some layers to be used, e.g. road, river, industry distribution, monitoring site, administrative and basin boundaries Figure 67. The additional layer can be added anytime, depending on need of analysis. Figure 67 . Map of Citarum River Basin

4.9.1 Searching The Industry Location

The systems can search the location of industry from the listing by combo box according to names of RegencyDistrict, Sub District and Village and its type of production based on ISIC Code, then clicking “Cari” to get the industry shown by the yellow color Figure 62. According to the spatial system, if the Tips Map facility be activated, then we can choose the name of layer and its attribute to show the pop up
