informasi berkaitan dengan situs web perpustakaan akademi. Rekomendasi arsitektur informasi oleh Shu terdiri dari library homepage, library portal page
dan “my library space”.
Penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Shu menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa situs web perpustakaan akademik akan:
a. Switch the focus from presenting information arranged according to
library function and resources to providing targeted and customizable tools and services to libaray users.
b. Design a seamless, one-stop information environment that minimizes user’
way-finding effort and nurtures the formation and dissemination of knowledge, ideas and experiences.
c. Respond to users’ changing needs and give users opportunities to express,
share and learn.
