Students respected others more. Active learning could increase students‟ participation but could not totally
change students‟ behavior. Students who were noisy in class were always the same students all the time. Those students were talkative and they

answers were beyond expectation. The researcher did not think that they felt more appreciated during the implementation of active learning in their English class. In
active learning, their answers were expected and their efforts were appreciated no matter how their abilities were. The most important thing was that they actively
participated in English class and they practiced their English. Based on students‟
answers for number three, they could develop their English, especially in speaking, pronunciation, listening, and writing due to the implementation of
active learning in their English class. Active learning enabled the students to be more active. It also enabled the
students to be more confident to perform in front of the class and to speak English that they were never dare before. Their expectation related to the implementation
of active learning was that they wanted the teacher to continue implementing and developing this learning method in English class. This was concluded based on
the students‟ answers for questions number five.
