that would be the experimental class and the controlled class. The result of the t- test of the pre-test will be presented in the data analysis.

2. Post-test Scores

Table 4.2 below, presents the scores of post test of experimental class and controlled class. There are 20 students in each class. The data will be explained below the table. Table 4.2 Post-test Scores Students X Post-test Scores of the Experimental Class Post-test Scores of the Controlled Class 1 80 60 2 66 60 3 46 56 4 90 46 5 66 56 6 56 83 7 70 76 8 63 83 9 73 83 10 70 86 11 43 40 12 73 66 13 50 70 14 60 46 15 83 90 16 66 53 17 70 70 18 63 53 19 60 56 Students X Post-test Scores of the Experimental Class Post-test Scores of the Controlled Class 20 76 40 Σ 1324 1273 Mean

66.20 63.65

As it can be seen from the table 4.2 in the previous page, the minimum score of the post-test score in the experimental class is 43 and in the controlled class is 40. The post-test was carried out in the last meeting after the treatment was given. If it is compared with the score of the pre-test scores, there is a significant improvement, especially for the experimental class which has the minimum score 10 in the pre-test, while in the post-test, the minimum score is 43. Furthermore, the highest score of the post-test both in the experimental class and controlled class is 90. Then, the median score of the post-test in the experimental class is 66 and in the controlled class is 60. Meanwhile, the mode of the post-test scores in the experimental class is 66 and in the controlled class is 56. The average score of the post-test in experimental class is 66.20 and in the controlled class is 63.65. Same as the minimum score, the average score for the experimental class also has a significant improvement. The average score of the pre-test in the experimental class is 43.90, while in the post-test, the average score is 66.20. It shows that the experimental class has an improvement after the treatment given. The writer also do the t-test of the post-test using SPSS that will be described in the data analysis.
