translation ‘dia masih terlalu muda untuk memutuskan’ delivered the meaning for the target language. Furthermore, those two translations were failed because they

CHAPTER III CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS
This is the last chapter of this research. It consists of two parts, namely conclusion and recommendations. The first part is conclusion, which summarized
the finding in the discussion of the study. The second part is recommendations, which recommends the readers regarding the idiomatic expressions translation
problem in the study.
A. Conclusion
This part presents the conclusion of the research finding. Based on the analysis, the researcher found that on My Sister’s Keeper, there are only 57 of
the idiomatic expressions translation that were acceptable. It had two out of three criteria of good translation. The other idiomatic expressions translation was
unacceptable. There are 43 of those idiomatic expressions translation which did not have two out of the three criteria.
There are some errors in the translation of the idiomatic expressions in subtitles. The percentage of failed idiomatic expressions translation was 43. The
percentage of failed translations was taken from Unacceptable Unacc translation 9.9 and Failed F translation 33.6. In this case, the translation was failed

language.
B. Recommendation
This part consists of recommendations from the researcher for translators and English learners. The first recommendation is for the translator, especially,
those who translate subtitles. The researcher recommends that the translators
deepen and sharpen the translator knowledge of the source language and target language. In this case, they have to deepen their knowledge of idiomatic
expressions, since there were a lot of errors in idiomatic translation. In conclusion, they have to understand the exact meaning of the target language.
The second recommendation is for English learners. In order to help them in mastering the language, English learners have to learn about idiomatic
expression in English and in their first language. Idiomatic expression is an important part of a language, since it was used in daily conversation or literary
