The Result of Hypothetical Test

At the last treatment, the researcher told to the students about the material and the focus of the study. The researcher taught vocabulary about noun consist of single word, compound word, and complex word, by theme occupation by using Fan-N-Pick technique on October 29 th , 2015 in VII B. in the third treatment, the result was better that previous treatment, because the students had been familiar with the material. After conducting three meetings of treatment, the researcher gave post test to the sample. The post-test was conducted on November 2 nd , 2015 at 07.30 a.m for the control class VIII A and on November 3 rd , 2015 at 10.30 a.m for control class VIIIB. The mean of students’ post-test score in experimental class was 65 and the mean od students’ post-test score in control class was 52. Based on the result pre-test and post test score, was influence between the experimetal class and the control class where the pre-test and post-test score of the experimental class were higher. It can be seen from the mean in pre-test in experimental class was 50 and the mean score of pre-test in control class was 49. and the mean of students’ post-test score in experimental class was 65. and the mean of students’ post-test score in control class was 52. From the data analysis, it was found that the result of t-test was 3.7. This result then was consulted to the score of t critical level of significance. In this case the level of significant 0.05 was 1.67. H o is refused, if the score of t observed t critical. From the analysis, the score of t observed was greater than t critical 3.7 1.67.. it means that H o is rejected and H a is accepted. It means that the treatments had influence of using Fan-N-Pick technique towards students’ vocabulary mastery. Because the alternative hypothesis is accepted, the researcher concludes that there was influence of using Fan-N-Pick technique towards students ’ vocabulary at the first semester of the eighth grade of MTS Al-Hidayah Srikuncoro Semaka Tanggamus in the academic year of 20152016. Therefore, it can be concluded that Fan-N-Pick Technique is one of good technique in motivating students in learning English, especially in vocabulary. It had been supported by the previous research conducted by Miskatun Nihayah about improving students vocabulary mastery through Fan-N-Pick technique was revealed that Fan-N-Pick technique made students were more active and increase their vocabulary.
