Another interpretation that I get from this behavior is that Yeni put a great deal of trust towards her lecturer since he had passed her standard of being a role
model hence his word is not to be taken for granted. Yeni realized the importance of role model for her personal benefit and to cherish that she manifested it as
being well behaved student in class that is to pay attentively to what the lecturer had to say, engage in any form of discussion that has been instructed by her
lecturer and furthermore complete her task on datelines. I think I always try to complete my homework or assignment but
sometimes I just cant do it, maybe because I have something to do or just completely forgot about the homework altogether. AL-LS-E7
I belief that having a strong role model in classroom would be a great complement for the classroom instruction in order for the students to progress, and in Yenis
case it has definitely has some impact on her academic life.
4.2.7 Recognizing drive towards online study
MOODLE Modular object oriented learning environment as a learning management system with full internet capabilities has subconsciously affect
students study time. I have strong belief that all of the students in writing 3 class are computer literate since all of them comes from similar economic background
and the same age group millennial; that is children who grew up with technology or attain familiarity with emergent technology when they come of age
will be effected similarly. The fully functional MOODLE with internet capability in classroom
pedagogy has provided great assistance for both students and teachers. The word convenience is the first think that come in student or teachers mind. The fourth

theme emerged from the data was the outcome of convenience. Yeni is a millennial, meaning that her life is dominated by electronic devices and the
software that entails; hence her computer literacy level is significantly high in comparison to most of her teachers and to some of her friends.

When she enrolled writing 3 class and consequently enrolled as a student in MOODLE, she found that she is learning in an environment that tune in with her
gadgetry aspect of her brain which is both exciting and motivating making her to follow the course in a positive and gracious manner. This is appropriate with the
concept of awareness advocated by Van Lier, that Yeni is consciously attending the learning model and made the decision to direct her attention in using
MOODLE in her study Van Lier: 1996:49. I use to stay connected with the world, I use it to research materials for my
study, ... Well, if Im honest I cant live without my mobile phones, its everything

Genre based approach is a prescriptive method to help students write text type in a meaningful manner, however, like any form of academic writing it allows
creativity for students to explore. To allow creativity to flourish students require a lot of ideas or inspirations and trial and error. The process of trial and error is
essential in learning writing and is advocated by the genre based approach. Collerson states that writing is regarded as a process, writing usually starts with

Individual course in MOODLE has been outfitted with a wide array of features to motivate students learn. One of the features that will be highlighted is the ability
to drag and drop feature. It allows both student and teachers to upload and download documents.
I usually read the materials again before the test and look up some of my notes. Since I didnt download the materials I usually go the website again
for the materials. If there are things that I dont understand I always call my friends for help,
if they are available on the internet or if they are also accessing the website we can chat through the website using the personal message or

In one of the block in writing 3 course in MOODLE, there is a book source block. It provides a wide selection of reading materials and text samples from
many academic literatures. Yeni admits that she reads a good number of texts before doing any writing either for homework or assignment, and sometimes
refers back to her work. I love the text collection; it serves as a great insight for learning in writing
3 class. Yes, before the test or maybe doing assignments I always do some reading, whether in the book collection or my previous work AL-DRIV-

Student like Yeni would usually find resources for referee from internet since she is accustomed to doing it, this habit apparently enough is the same with all other
subjects in her faculty. This tendency of accessing internet for references can be

put into good use. MOODLE provides students with a great number of reading references; hence, Yenis scope of finding materials is reduced to only one. By
having only MOODLE as the only websites that she visits for reference it helped her to improve her knowledge and skills more effectively at least in terms of
gaining writing insight to generate ideas. I would have some expectations that everything so be computerized,
especially in learning and we have many examples of that. Personally I think I learn better because Im used to electronic environments, and my
brain can function better..hahahah and furthermore I think now I spend less time searching because everything that I needed is all there. And I can

This is due to the fact that all of the materials available in MOODLE particularly the text selection has been filtered and sorted by the lecturer to accommodate
writing 3 course and this is also highlighted by Yenis account. Yes its much better because its more relevant since the lecturer provide it

Consequently student does not need to bother sorting out the kinds of reference appropriate for them in order to do well in writing 3 class because it has been
done for them by a more competent person who knows the writing 3 course expectations. Overall I believe that ha is compelled to visit MOODLE which has a
more appropriate references compared to other websites where she can gain better knowledge and spend less time searching for unrelated materials making her more
focus on the subject. This tendency or impulse towards online learning can be accommodated by MOODLE with the appropriate measures for increasing her
knowledge and skills where she definitely felt the benefit.
