E. The Interpretation of Test Result

Based on the result of the pre-test, the post-test 1 and the post-test 2, the writer can interpret the data, and she also gave the diagram before describing the results of pre-test, post test 1 and post-test 2. Here it is the diagram: 5 10 15 20 25 30 Nilai 65 Nilai 65 KKM Nilai 65 Pre Test Post Test I Post Test II 68 After that the writer can interpret the data result among the pre-test, the post-test of cycle 1 and the post-test of cycle 2 in detail as following: Before conducting the Classroom Action Research CAR, the writer gave the pre-test to the students it is showed that the mean of students’ score on understanding of imperative sentences before using the Total Physical Response TPR is 50.21. Meanwhile, the class percentage which pass the Minimum Mastery Criterion-Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal KKM is 16.67. It means that there are only 4 students who pass the Minimum Mastery Criterion-Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal KKM and there are 20 students who still below the Minimum Mastery Criterion-Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal KKM. Then after getting the pre-test result, it is known that the mean score is 60.83. It proved that there are some improvement of students’ score from the pre- test that is 10.63 60.83 – 50.21 or 21.16. Moreover, the class percentage of students who pass the Minimum Mastery Criterion-Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal KKM in the post-test 1 is 50. It is known that there are 12 students who pass the Minimum Mastery Criterion-Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal KKM and there are 12 students who still below the target of Minimum Mastery Criterion-Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal KKM. Consequently, the writer continued to conduct this Classroom Action Research CAR in the next cycle, because it could not achieve the target yet of success CAR criterion that is 75 or at least 18 students from the students’ percentage which pass the Minimum Mastery Criterion-Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal KKM. Next, the mean score in the post-test of cycle 2 is 75.21. It means that the students’ improvement score is 14.38 75.21-60.83 from the post-test 1 60.83 or 49.79 students’ improvement in the score percentage from pre-test. Furthermore, in the percentage of students who pass the Minimum Mastery Criterion-Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal KKM in the post-test 2 shows that there is 87.5. It means that there are 21 students who pass the Minimum Mastery Criterion-Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal KKM and only 3 students are still below the Minimum Mastery Criterion-Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal KKM. This class percentage shows some improvements 87.5 from the pre-test 16.67 and 69 post-test 1 50 in the class percentage. The post-test of cycle 2 has fulfilled the target of Classroom Action Research CAR because there is above 75 of students who pass the Minimum Mastery Criterion-Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal KKM. From the interpretation of the data above, it shows that using Total Physical Response TPR can develop students’ ability in using imperative sentences, finally it can be said that the Classroom Action Research CAR is success and the writer ends the cycle.
