Academic words mastered 65 is presented in the following table. Sixty five percent mastery means that the students are able to master academic words
well and the words are categorized based on the lexical category.

There is no nouns mastered 65 by the students, but there are 13 of 20 students able to master 5 verbs tested. It means that more than a half of the
samples are able to master those words well and the rest of the samples are not. Adjectives mastered 65 are only 4 of 120 adjectives. It shows that more than a
half of the students taken as the respondents are able to master 4 of 120 adjectives or in the form of percentage, the students only master 3.33 of 120 words. The
table shows that there is an adverb mastered 65 by the students. It means that the students are only able to know the meaning of an adverb and the adverb is

4.1.2.2.9 Academic words mastered 60 by the twelve grade students in SMA Negeri 1 Wonosari
Table 4.16 below presents the academic words mastered 60 by the twelve grade students. There are 27 words mastered 60 and they are presented
in the table based on the lexical category.

According to the table, the students are able to master 11 nouns or 3.28 of 335 nouns in the vocabulary test. Like what have been stated above, it means
that most of the students are able to master 11 nouns. The number of verb mastered 60 by the students is 10 words and in the form of percentage, it is
8.13 of 123 verbs occurred in academic vocabulary tests. The table shows that there are 10 verbs mastered by the students. Table 4.16 shows that there are 6
adjectives mastered 60 by the students since there are more than a half of the respondents are able to master the words well. It shows that the students who were

4.1.2.2.10 Academic words mastered 55 by the twelve grade students in SMA Negeri 1 Wonosari
Academic words mastered 55 by the twelve grade students are presented in table 4.17 below. Fifty five percent mastery means that the students are able to
master the words well since there are more than a half of the numbers of respondents are able to master the academic words.

Nouns mastered 55 by the students are only 5 of 335 nouns or it is only 1.49 of the nouns tested in this research. It means that the students are able to
master those words. It also shows that there are still more than a half of the samples able to master the words well. The table shows that 11 students are able
to master 4 of 123 verbs tested in the academic vocabulary test. It is only 3.25 of 123 verbs that can be mastered by the students. It shows that the students’
mastery of verb based on the percentage is not good. Adjectives mastered 55 by the students are only a word. It is only 0.83
of 120 adjectives tested. It means that more than a half of the respondents are not able to master the word well. Based on the percentage, they do not have good
