The highest score from this set is 90 and the lowest is 77. The mean score in set 2 is lower than mean score in set 1. It shows that the students’ mastery of academic
words tested in set 2 is worse than the students’ mastery in set 1. However, they also have good mastery of academic words since their average score is 84.8.

Table 4 shows that the highest score is 100 and the lowest is 72. The highest score in this set is higher than the highest score in the other sets. Although the highest
score in this set is the highest if it is compared with the highest scores in the other sets, the average score in this set is lower than set 1 and set 3. It is because of the
other scores in set 4 consists of scores which are below 80 in which the lowest score in this set is lowest that is 72. Therefore, the mean score in this set cannot
