The highest score from this set is 90 and the lowest is 77. The mean score in set 2 is lower than mean score in set 1. It shows that the students’ mastery of academic words tested in set 2 is worse than the students’ mastery in set 1. However, they also have good mastery of academic words since their average score is 84.8.

c. Scores of the test: Set 3

The test result of the students in set 3 is presented below. The average score in set 3 achieves 91.20. It means that the students’ mastery of academic words is better than the students’ mastery in set 2. However, it is lower than the average score in set 1.

d. Scores of the test: Set 4

The test results the twelve grade students in set 4 are presented below. The highest score in this set is higher than the highest score in the other sets. Although the highest score in this set is the highest if it is compared with the highest scores in the other sets, the average score in this set is lower than set 1 and set 3. It is because of the other scores in set 4 consists of scores which are below 80 in which the lowest score in this set is lowest that is 72. The test results of the students in set 5 are presented in the following table. The highest score is 100, while the lowest is 66. Through this counting, it can be seen that the students in set 5 can achieve the average score that is 91.45.
