C. Isi

Desain ini berpusat pada kegiatan membaca dan terdiri dari 8 unit, yang topiknya dipilih dari hasil survey kebutuhan. Setiap unit terdiri dari Pre-Reading, While Reading, and Post Reading. Waktu yang disediakan untuk setiap unit 90 menit. Setiap unit merupakan rangkaian materi pelajaran yang mendorong siswa agar mampu menganalisa dan memahami bacaan dengan baik. 1. Pre Reading Bagian ini bertujuan untuk “exploit reader background knowledge”, mengajak siswa untuk mengaktifkan kembali pengetahuan yang telah mereka miliki sebelum membaca teks dan menghantar siswa pada topik yang akan dibahas. Penulis menggunakan istilah Setting The Context sebagai pengganti Pre-reading activity. 2. While Reading Bagian kedua mengajak siswa untuk membaca dan memahami bacaan serta menganalisa isi teks bacaan yang diberikan. Aktivitas yang dilaksanakan meliputi Reading the text and Comprehension Check. 3. Post Reading Di bagian ini, ada berbagai aktivitas yang diberikan kepada siswa yang mempunyai kaitan dengan teksbacaan yang telah biberikan sebelumnya. Aktivitas yang dilaksanakan bersifat rileks dan santai agar bisa tercipta suasana baru, seperti writing, focus on the literature, and listening to the song. 101 APPENDIX 06 6A. SYLABUSS 6B. C. Responding to the chapter
