Discussion RESEARCH FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION

1. For the English teachers of the eleventh grade of Avionics Maintenance and Repair study program. The English teachers were suggested to use materials that live up to the students’ needs. That is why conducting a needs analysis before the teaching and learning process is important. It was expected that by using the developed materials, the eleventh grade teachers can teach students of Avionics Maintenance and Repair study program English for Specific Purpose, which was more suitable to support the teaching learning process to make the students more prepared linguistically in their line of work in the future.

2. For other researchers

It was expected that the other researchers who have the same interest in this field could make more interesting materials. They should provide some activities that make the students more interested in learning English. Then, the students will have a lot of practices in English. The results of this research can also be used as the reference in conducting the same research.

3. For material developers

The lack of ESP materials for vocational high school students, particularly Avionics Maintenance and Repair study program, is a great opportunity for material developers to create one which is better in terms of its quality and content.
