V. KESIMPULAN DAN SARAN

5.1 Kesimpulan Penggunaan vaksin DNA dengan dosis 2.5, 7.5 dan 12.5 µg100µ l selama masa vaksinasi memberikan pengaruh terhadap beberapa parameter hematologi yaitu total leukosit, persentase limfosit dalam darah dan indeks fagositik. Sedangkan pada masa uji tantang dengan virus KHV pengenceran 10 -3 parameter darah yang terlihat berpengaruh nyata adalah limfosit, monosit dan indeks fagositik. Pada akhir pengamatan, perlakuan C dosis 12.5 µg100µ l menunjukan persentase limfosit tertinggi, total rataan eritrosit tertinggi dan persentase monosit yang lebih cepat turun dari kedua perlakuan dosis lainnya, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa vaksin DNA dengan dosis 12.5 µg100µ l memberikan efektifitas respon tanggap kebal terbaik dibandingkan dengan kedua dosis yang lain.

5.2 Saran

Diperlukan suatu kajian mengenai penambahan dosis vaksin DNA untuk mengetahui dosis optimum vaksin, sehingga diperoleh respon kekebalan tubuh ikan lebih baik.
