MNCN succeeded in increasing the revenue in 2006 amounting to Rp.16 billion, increase by 45.3
compared to the revenue in 2005 amounting to Rp.11 billion. The increase of the annual revenue as such
was mainly due to the increase of revenue from sponsorship program that recorded an increase of
165.4 compared to 2005.
MNCN sustained operating loss of 56.5 amounting to Rp.6.5 billion compared to the year 2005
amounted to Rp.4.1 billion. The increase of such operating loss was mainly due to the increase of
operational cost.
In line with such operating loss in 2006 MNCN still recorded a net loss of Rp.3.8 billion, where as in 2005 it
sustained loss of Rp.5.6 billion.
III. Telecommunication and IT Sector PT Mobile-8 Telecom Tbk Mobile-8
On 28 November 2006, Mobile-8 succeeded in listing its shares in the Jakarta Stock Exchange and
Surabaya Stock Exchange under share code of “FREN”. The process of the Initial Shares Public
Offering was made by offering 3,900,000,000 shares with an offering price of Rp.225 per share, where there
was an oversubscription of seven times.
The funds collected from the Initial Shares Public Offering amounted to Rp.877 billion as such shall be
used as follows:
i Approximately 57 for the expansion of cellular network in several areas outside Java island such as
Sumatra, Kalimantan and Sulawesi and to improve the network in Java, Bali and Lombok islands;
ii Approximately 43 for working capital and other general requirements.
In 2006, Mobile-8 succeeded in recording an increase of revenue by 55.7 amounting to Rp.751 billion
compared to the year 2005 which amounted to Rp.239 billion.

MNCN berhasil meningkatkan pendapatan tahun 2006 sebesar Rp.16 miliar, meningkat 45,3
dibandingkan pendapatan tahun 2005 sebesar Rp.11 miliar. Peningkatan pendapatan tahunan
tersebut terutama disebabkan oleh peningkatan pendapatan dari program sponsorship yang
mencatat kenaikan 165,4 dibandingkan tahun 2005.
MNCN mengalami kerugian usaha sebesar 56,5 yaitu sebesar Rp.6,5 miliar dibandingkan tahun 2005
yaitu sebesar Rp.4,1 miliar. Peningkatan kerugian usaha tersebut terutama disebabkan oleh
meningkatnya biaya operasional.
Sejalan dengan kerugian usaha tersebut pada tahun 2006 MNCN masih mencatat kerugian bersih sebesar
Rp.3,8 miliar, sedangkan pada tahun 2005 mengalami kerugian sebesar Rp.5,6 miliar.
