translator has chosen the right diction that “bola-ku” raised the humorous effect. Then, the target audience will achieve the humorous effect as natural as source
language. One of characteristic of Nababan’s parameter rates assessment of acceptability whereas the translator use the natural phrase, so it may be conclude
that the humor translation of this scene is acceptable.

5. Kentucky

In the target language the sentence of “Kentucky Skipper, they do love their Flatt and Scruggs translated into “Kentucky Skipper, mereka suka lagu Flatt
dan Scruggs”. In this case, using the foreign word culture is inappropriate because it may influence the humorous effect in target language. Therefore, the translator
should replace the band and the song that familiar in the target language. In order the humor may be transferred successfully, the translator should avoid using the
foreign culture. As Marc Deneire said that some jokes will be rejected within certain cultures because of their cultural inappropriateness

. If the translator does not replace the word that culturally bound into certain culture so the target
audience will not understand the humor as well as SL. Most of people have the less knowledge about other culture. To sum up, it may be concluded that the
humor translation version from this scene is not acceptable. According to Nababan’s acceptability parameter using the uncommon and unfamiliar phrase it
means the translation is not acceptable.
