4. Analisa Logit
Teknik estimasi pilihan diskrit seperti logit diperlukan teknik statistic yang lebih maju dalam analisis data stated preference. Meskipun pada mulanya dimaksudkan
untuk menganalisa choice data diskret, tipe lain dalam mengukur pilihan seperti rating dan ranking dapat juga dianalisa sebagai data choice data. Estimasi yang
dilakukan didasarkan pada prinsip statistic maksimum likehood.

Pemilihan moda merupakan model yang penting dalam perencanaan transportasi. Hal ini karena peran kunci dari angkutan umum dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas sistem
pergerakan dalam kegiatan transportasi. Dalam kegiatan transportasi penumpang antar kota maka yang terjadi adalah persaingan antara moda Kereta Api dan Bus. Dalam meninjau
persaingan yang terjadi maka faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemilihan moda perlu dipelajari dengan baik sehingga pihak yang terkait dapat mewujudkan sistem angkutan umum yang lebih
memadai. Studi ini dilakukan melalui survei sekunder ke instansi yang terkait serta survei primer dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada pengguna moda kereta api dan bus. Dari hasil
survei yang dilakukan, diperoleh karakteristik pengguna moda serta faktor-faktor yang menjadi pertimbangan dalam pemilihan moda oleh pelaku perjalanan. Lima faktor dengan persentase
terbesar yaitu waktu perjalanan, biaya perjalanan, kualitas pelayanan, keamanan dan kemudahan akses. Dari hasil uji statistik yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan persamaan sehsih utilitas antara
kedua moda adalah sebagai berikut. Persamaan utilitas antara Kereta Api Eksekutif dengan Bus Patas adalah: U SE,BP = -0,844 - 0,00001261 AC - 0,004880 ATT + 0,001696 AH + 0,02726
ASQ Persamaan utilitas antara Kereta Api Bisnis dengan Bus Patas adalah: USB,BP =-1,070 - 0,00006118 AC-0,005191 ATT + 0,001672 AH + 0,02818 ASQ Dengan variabel bebas sehsih

understand this competition, factors influencing modal choice need to be well studied, in order to realize good public transportation system. This study has been based on secondary survey to
related institution and primary survey upon rail and bus users. From the survey data we can obtain user characteristics and modal choice considering factors for users. Five considering
factors according with biggest percentage to users opinion, are travel time, travel cost, service quality, safety and accessibility. Statistic tests produce equation expressing the difference of
utility between rail and bus. The equations of utility between rail and bus are as follows. The equations of utility between Executive Rail and Express Bus is : U SE, BP = -0,844 -
0,00001261 AC - 0,004480 ATT + 0,0016 AH + 0,02726 ASQ. The equations of utility between Business Rail and Express Bus : U SB,BP = -1,070 - 0,00006118 AC - 0,005191 ATT
+ 0,001672 AH + 0,02818 ASQ. The independent variables are travel time difference, travel cost difference, headway difference and service quality difference. A Logit Binomial Modal
