Then, some of the groups, Group 6 and 1, reported their answer to the whole class. In the post-reading activity, the teacher concluded the lesson. Then, the students and the researcher did reflection from the teaching and learning process about what they felt and their difficulties during the activities. At last, the teacher gave them homework to students and said goodbye.

c. The Third Meeting

The third meeeting was carried out on Saturday, April 10th, 2010. The reading text for the third meeting was “ Past E xperience”. The researcher entered the classroom, greeted the students, and pray to God. After that, the researcher checked t he students‟ attendance. There were 31 students in the class , all of them were present. They were 16 male students and 15 female students. Before teaching reading, the researcher reviewed the previous lesson and stated the new topic. After that, the researcher explained the objectives of the meeting. Then, the researcher asked the students to sit in their own groups. The researcher introduced the reading text by giving some questions to know the students ‟ background knowledge. The researcher began the lesson by saying “ Students, did you remember the text that we discussed the last meeting? ”. Some of students answered : “ Yes, recount text bu ”. Then, the next question was: “ What is the title of the text?”. One of the students answered KA: “ Valentino Rossi, bu ”. Then, the researcher answered: “ Yes good students ”. The teacher said: “ Ok now, the next question was: “ What is your favorite story ?”. One of the students answered TU: “ Fable ”. Then, the teacher answered: “ Yes good, that belongs to a narrative text ”. The next question was: “ What is fable? ”. One of the students answered ADN: “ Story about animals ”. The teacher said: “ Good answer ”. Then, the teacher said: “ Now, we will study a narrative text. The teacher said: “ Students, do you know what a narrative text is? ”. Some of the students raised their hand. Then, the researcher pointed one of the students. One of the students answered UA: “Narrative text is to entertain the reader”. Then, the researcher distributed the student‟s worksheets. The student‟s worksheet was in Appendix 8.c. Then, the researcher asked some of the students to read the text loudly, the title was “ P ast Experience” but before that, the researcher gave a model to read the text correctly. After that, the students discussed Task 2, 3, and 4. While the students discussing the lesson, the writer monitored them. Besides that, the teacher also guided and corrected the wrong answer .
