form of print and non-print materials using a range of strategies to
construct meaning.
Teacher shows few pictures on natural disaster such as flood or typhoon to stimulate the
pupils’ knowledge and encourage them to share their experiences.
Teacher put on the comprehension text on the whiteboard.
Shared reading activity.
Divide the class into 2 groups. Take turn to ask & answer the comprehension questions.
Teacher read aoud the answers, pupils underlined the sentences with colour pencils in the
given comprehension texts.
Teacher guides on how to find words in the text which have the meanings stated in the
questions sheet.
Pupils complete the Bubble Map using the information from the comprehension text.
