OBJECTIVE
ACTIVITIES
By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:1. listen and respond appropriately in formal and informal situations
for a variety of purposes.
2. understand and respond to oral texts in a variety of contexts.
1. Teacher greets the pupils and get the pupils to respond. Talk/ask about
pupils prior knowledge of greeting cards..
2. Teacher displays greeting cards of Malaysia;s important festival..
3. Teacher displays the flash cards and give some explanation about the
greeting’s card vocabulary.
4. Teacher distributes word cards to pupils(work in pair).
5. Teacher displays flash cards and asks the pupils to guess which ethnic
celebrate the festval.
6. Teacher asks pupils to act according the type of the festival.
7. In pairs , asks pupils to talk about their favourite festival and teacher
guides them to try to give their reasons.
8. Class drilling the words and identify the genres and the meaning
correctly.
