D. Data Collecting Techniques
The techniques of data collection of this research used several steps. First, the researcher watched the movie to see the phenomena of the research, while
reading the transcript of English text and their Bahasa Indonesia subtitling text. Then, he identified all English idiomatic expressions and their translations as main
data. After that, the researcher compared the data and made the data sheet to categorize the data classification based on the realization of meaning. Then, he put
the classified data with special numbers and codes. In classifying the data and their codes, the researcher applied the categorization based on the degree of
meaning equivalence as follows. a.

The last step was analyzing the data based on research procedures. Firstly, the researcher classified and analyzed the data in terms of realization of
meaning. After that, he analyzed the data in terms of meaning equivalence. Then, he made some conclusions and judgments based on the analysis.
E. Data Analysis Techniques
This research employed the technique of content analysis to examine the data. Then, the data comparison was organized to produce data analysis. To detect
the occurrences of idiomatic expressions and their translation, the English text and Bahasa Indonesia subtitling text were compared. After that, the researcher
identified the realization of meaning of the translations to be contrasted with the original expressions. Then, the data were analyzed based on the comparison to
establish the degree of meaning equivalence to achieve the degree of meaning accuracy. The next step was making the description of the data classification and
data analysis. The researcher also conducted the data triangulation by discussing with the consultants and his friends. Last, the researcher took the conclusions
based on the result of the research.
