CHAPTER V CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTION
A. Conclusion
Based on research findings in the previous chapter, the writer concludes that teaching vocabulary of adjective by using cooperative learning to the eight
grade students of MTs. Al- Ishlah is more effective than without using cooperative learning. It can be seen from the result of statistic calculation. That
the comparison between t-score with t-table. In the table of significance or in t- table, it can be seen from the df = 38 and on the degree of 5 and 1 , the result
is 2.02 and 2.71, t-score is 17.86, so it can be concluded that t-score is higher than t-table. It is effective to teach vocabulary by using Cooperative Learning
B. Suggestion
Dealing with the conclusion, the writer would like to suggest as follow, teachers should:
1. Improve their way in teaching vocabulary; they should motivate and stimulate students by using cooperative learning especially in teaching
vocabulary 2. Consider the use of Cooperative Learning as a method to teach
vocabulary as it is effective for students. 3. Be able to manage and control small group discussion or any kind of
cooperative learning activities to encourage cooperation among the students and eliminate competition. Because it was difficult to
maintain the effective learning without the class which under controlled. Since small group discussion is an effective learning for
students, teacher should not leave the class. 4. Be well preparation. They have to spend much time to select the
suitable topics which related to their English lesson and design them
well. If it is necessary the teachers can use media to get the students more understand.
5. Improve their knowledge about the various method or learning strategies, so they can choose the best method for their students
6. Vary their techniques in the classroom because it can motivate their students to study and they will not get bored easily.
