5.2. Suggestion

67 In order to be able to transfer the idea from SL into TL especially in subtitling, there are many things that need to be considered by the translator. Because what really matters in translation is how to make the translation or subtitle can be well comprehended by the people who read it and it has to be able to delivered the idea or the message from the SL as close as possible into the TL. In subtitling, the translator need to well understand both of the languages SL and TL, not only the whole system of the language, but also the culture of the languges. Because the subtitles between languages can be different and usually cannot be translated and comprehended literally. That is why, it will be better if he translates the subtitle from SL into the subtitle in TL, if it can give the closest similarity of the ideas from the SL. But if he cannot do that, it will be better to find another wordings that can replicates and explains the same situation as the SL or the original, because the most important of the translation is the meaning of SL is translated as natural as possible to the TL word. And as suggestion for those who are interested in observing or doing a research about translation, research about strategies of translation is still rare to find. It will be interesting to find out and explore more about the strategies, especially because of the differences between the subtitles from the languages that appear because of the differences of culture, the structural of the language and the system of the language. To find out and compare subtitles from one language to the other language can become an attractive challenge to be observed. REFERENCES 6
