The Results of the Post-design Questionnaire

63 English lecturers of the English Language Education Study Program of Sanata Dharma University. It was hoped that they provided feedback, comments and evaluation so that the writer could revise and present the final version of the designed materials. This step consisted of three sections as follows.

a. The Results of the Post-design Questionnaire

In obtaining the evaluation on the designed materials, the writer distributed the post-design questionnaire to the post-design participants. The post-design questionnaire was aimed at obtaining feedback about the appropriateness of the materials for the eleventh grade students of Language Department of SMA BOPKRI 2 Yogyakarta. The participants expressed their degree of agreement in numbers. The numbers ranged from 1 to 5. The results of the evaluation were presented in Table 4.4. The Mean was counted using the calculation below: X = Σ X N Note : X : the range point Σ X : the sum of all scores N : the number of respondents Based on the results of the post-design questionnaire, basically, the designed materials were good and acceptable. From Table 4.4, out of nine statements stated in the post-design questionnaire, one statement had score below 3.4. The statement, which had score below 3.4, was the statement about the time allocation. The mean of the scores were mostly above 3.5. Thus, based on the results, the writer concluded that the participants agreed that the designed materials were appropriate and acceptable, although there were some revisions that should be conducted.
