4.1.2.4.2. Ophiocoma cf.dentata black ophiuroids
Black ophiuroid Ophiocoma cf.dentata during hourly decrease salinity had a lower salinity limit 100 mortality or not responding of 13; the starting salinity
was 36 Table 14, Figure 36. The organisms reached their 50 mortality not response at less than 16 Figure 37. Condition of the organisms on the sixth
hour, some organisms‟ arms started to become stiff and curled 30. On the seventh hour, the organisms showed slow movement 29. On the twelfth hours,
the organisms became stiffer but could still turn 24. On the fifteenth hour, all of the organisms became stiff and curled but could still turn 21. On sixteenth hour,
the organisms could still turn but very slowly 20. On nineteenth hour, the first organism could not respond 17 Appendix 21. At the end of experiment the
organisms showed weakness, stiffness, and none of the organisms could turn. The arms of the organisms were all stiff and curled. All organisms were already at
the bottom of the experimental tank. The temperature in experiment and control tank was more or less stable during experiment Figure 38.
