4.1.2.1.3. Ophiocoma cf.dentata black Ophiuroid
Black ophiuroid Ophiocoma cf.dentata during hourly increase temperature
had an upper thermal limit 100 mortality or not responding of 40.5 C; the
starting temperature was 26.8 C Table 6, Figure 19. The organisms reached
their 50 mortality not response at more than 40 C Figure 20. The organisms
started to get slower movement at 32.3 C sixth hour Appendix 19. Condition
of the organisms at the end of experiment: the arms are more or less straight and loose and could not turn. All organisms were already at the bottom of the
experimental tank.
