CHAP III RESEARCH
METHODOLOGY 3.1. Method of Data Collection
1. Studies Library At this stage of data collection by the
literature study, the authors find references relevant to the object to be written.
Reference searches carried out in libraries, bookstores and online through the internet.

In addition to the literature study authors also collect references and
material from the thesis or research paper in which one object of the discussion is
almost the same as those written by authors, for example, is a thesis about the
E-Commerce
3. Observation Authors performed data collection in
the field to obtain information about system requirements. Observations carried
out by coming directly to the agency concerned ie BPPT Agency for the
Assessment and Application of Technology, to see how directly the
actual object of research. This is done to obtain clear information about the data and
information required in the design application.
4. Kueisioner Kueisioner aims to find out how many
products are in demand in the market with consumers from various circles, especially
students. The questionnaire in the form of questions which will be incorporated into
the return channel TV poll
3.2. Systems Development Methods
In the method of system development, the author uses one model SDLC System
Development Life Cycle is the waterfall. Metod waterfall is often called linear sequential model
sequential liniear provides the approach flow in the software life sekensial or sequentially starting
from the analysis, design, coding, testing, and stage support support.

Stages of the Waterfall method
1. Analysis of application requirements
Collection process needs to be done intensively mespesifikasikan application
needs to be dipaham. Moreover the analysis performed to understand the
applications that will run in order to define the problems so that applications can
determine the application requirements outlined in preparation to the design phase.
2. Design
At the design stage is given a clear overview to the user and the complete
design of the application to be made to the parties involved in developing a
application. This phase starts from the beginning of the design process, tools or
equipment with the help of Data Flow Diagrams DFD as a tool and as a process
flowchart
3. Coding and Implementation
The design must be translated into a software program. The results of this stage
is a computer program in accordance with the design have been made at the design
stage.
4. Testing
Phase of testing was conducted to obtain and ensure that the software produced is
valid and in accordance with the needs that have been described. This is done to
minimize the error error and make sure the output output generated in
accordance with the design.
5. Support or Maintanance
There’s possiblelity that the application would change when it was run. Change
can occur because of errors that arise and are not detected during testing.
Maintenance phase can repeat the process of development without having to create
new applications. Besides the maintenance phase or maintenance is also performed as
a maintenance activities are also updating
