CHAPTER V CONCLUSIONS AND SUGGESTONS

This chapter consists of two parts, namely conclusions and suggestions. The first part deals with the conclusions of the study. The second part deals with the suggestions that are expected to help English teachers, especially for the English teacher of SD Negeri Dayuharjo and future researchers.

A. Conclusions

In order to develop a set of English vocabulary instructional materials based on Multiple Intelligences theory, the writer applied educational research and development RD. In educational research and development RD, there were a cycle which consisted of research and information collecting, planning, developing preliminary form of product, preliminary field testing, main product revision, main product testing, operational product revision, operational product testing, final product revision, dissemination and implementation, the process of this study referred to this RD cycle. Since this study focused on designing a set of materials, the writer only applied five steps of the RD cycle, namely research and information collecting, planning, developing preliminary form of product, preliminary field testing, and main product revision. To answer the second problem of the research, the writer designed a set of English vocabulary instructional materials based on Mulitple Intelligences theory for the fourth grade students of SD Negeri Dayuharjo. The designed materials
