4. Verbal Process

A. Participants: the participant of relational process in A Chip off the Old Block only consists of conscious human. It can be seen from the clauses which are taken from the short story below: a. Circumstance: the circumstances in relational process in A Chip off the Old Block consist of circumstance of place and manner of means. It can be seen from the clauses which are taken from the short story below: a. Unconscious Human - I smile vaguely - I am smiling at them - I smiled at her B. Process: the process type in A Chip off the Old Block only consists of verb: smile. It can be seen from the following example: - I smile vaguely - I am smiling at them - I smiled at her C. Circumstance: the circumstance in behavioral process of A Chip off the Old Block short story can be seen as follows: - I smile vaguely - He sleep well
