After analyzing the information obtained from the interview, the researcher could say that false concepts hypothesized became one of the factors that caused students to make subject-verb agreement errors. Respondents experienced this false concepts hypothesized in understanding the subject-verb agreement in a sentence. Then, this false concepts hypothesized, which caused them to make subject-verb agreement errors, happened especially when they had to consider whether something was countable or uncountable. I may sometimes be confused to consider whether a noun is countable or uncountable, so I am also confused to consider whether the verb to follow the noun should be followed by –s or not, or whether to use is or are, to follow the noun. It is because I do not have good memory on all countable and uncountable nouns. One of the reasons was because they were not able to memorize all of the nouns, which belong either to countable group or to uncountable group. Because of that difficulty, most of the respondents admitted that they often added –s for the uncountable noun, and applied the plural verb to follow that uncountable noun added by –s. Consequently, it caused them to make errors on subject-verb agreement in the sentence they wrote. Therefore, the researcher could say that the case of this faulty of concepts hypothesized could happen because of being difficult in differentiating between countable noun and uncountable noun. Furthermore, this faulty concepts hypothesized, which caused the respondents to make subject-verb agreement errors, could also happen because of the confusion to consider whether certain pronoun has singular meaning or plural meaning and whether a noun followed by the adjectives has singular meaning or plural meaning. It is like me who sometimes forgets about countable and noncountable nouns. They are different and have different implementation. Moreover, the addition of color, size in front of a noun, sometimes also leads me into a confusion: whether to use is or are after the noun, whether the noun is considered singular or plural. Another case of false concepts hypothesized, which led respondents to make subject-verb agreement errors, was the difficulty to consider whether the pronoun it was singular or plural. I think that it is a pronoun for things, animals, many other things. Therefore, without considering whether the nouns are singular or plural, I often consider that it has plural meaning. The researcher, therefore, could say that there were three cases of false concepts hypothesized, which possibly led the respondents to make subject-verb agreement errors in their sentences. They were the difficulty to consider whether these things are singular or plural: countable and nouncountable noun, it, a subject whose form is a noun followed by the adjectives, e.g., color, size.
