70 The research showed that Microteaching students’ interest in the
implementation of teaching lower semester program indeed built their positive perception on it. Later, the positive behavioral responses come as the outcome of
that positive perception. It looked at their active participation in each stage of teaching lower semester for practicing their teaching skills.
As the implication of the teaching lower semester, the students were motivated to perform better teaching. Moreover, they admitted that they were
eager to have other teaching experiences.
3. Students’ Suggestions to Improve and to Maximize the Implementation of
Teaching Lower Semester in Microteaching Class
Based on data gathered, the students gave some suggestions for the procedure and the persons involves in teaching lower semester students
concerning in the implementation of teaching lower semester students.
a. The Procedure of Teaching Lower Semester
1 The Microteaching lecturer select the lower semester for the students because the students got difficulty to find available class.
2 Using lottery will make simple the process of selecting of lower semester class. 2 The teaching lower semester might be carried out more than one.
3 The comments from lower semester students should be included in the teaching lower semester program scoring.

b. The Persons Involved in Teaching Lower Semester Program
1. Microteaching Lecturer The students expected their lecturer to inform the procedure of selecting of lower
semester class. 2 Lecturer of Lower Semester Class
The lecturer should give more opportunity to the student for having more observation in the lower semester class. Later, it had better to inform the time of
teaching in lower semester class to Microteaching students earlier before teaching In addition, the students want to get feedback from lecturer for their lesson plan
and teaching in the lower semester program. 2. Microteaching Students
Some students suggested the other students to prepare their selves before teaching by having class observation and lesson plan consultation with lecturer of
lower semester class. Beside, the students should be proactive in asking to the Microteaching lecturer about the procedure of selecting class.
In conducting teaching, it is expected that the students could behave friendlily to the lower semester students in the class.
3. Lower Semester Students The students proposed that the lower semester students give respect to
Microteaching students so that the teaching process goes on smoothly. Because the students considered that comment from the lower semester students
are useful, the students should give the comments about Microteaching students’ teaching honestly.
